Be part of our Supply Chain Team as a Logistics Coordinator (Industrial Automation) in Dubai, UAE.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Assist the Logistics Manager in day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders to ensure timely and planned deliveries to both the warehouse and project sites.
  • Update and maintain relevant data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide assistance to the Logistics Manager and Administration/Secretarial teams, ensuring accountability for the safety, accuracy, and completeness of documents handled.
  • Regularly update and manage the Delivery Control Schedule, which includes shipment details for the project.
  • Maintain and file supplier import and export documentation, including Bayan, Bill of Entry, and any related Excel data work.
  • Ensure e-filling all relevant project documentation within the network drive.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and comply with established processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track and assess logistics performance.
  • Process service provides invoices and coordinate bookings through the Global Business Services team for invoicing processing.
  • Generate logistics-related reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards as stipulated in the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and clearance agents to ensure smooth import/export processes.
  • Monitor and track shipments in transit and proactively resolve any delays or issues.
  • Participate in logistics cost optimization initiatives.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business administration, Industrial Engineering, similar discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years in logistics, shipping, import/ export, shipping and freight forwarding within a logistics environment in the industrial automation field.
  • Experience in documentation handling and reporting within a logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with UAE customs procedures and clearance platforms (e.g., Dubai Trade, Bayan).
  • Well-versed in SABER certification requirements and actively responsible for processing SASO/SABER applications for shipments to Saudi Arabia.
  • Actively participated in projects as a Logistics Coordinator and served as the key go-to person - a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP) is a plus.
  • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Excel, MS Access is a plus.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrates ownership.
  • Understanding of ISO standards and reporting practices.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
